What is the difference between DHCP and STATIC IP in IP policy?
DHCP stands for "Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol". Its purpose is to enable ATA device on an IP network to extract its configurations from a server, therefore you don't need to enter the IP by your self where the device take it dynamically. Once the device disconnects from the Internet, its dynamic IP address may be change in the next time.
STATIC IP means assign IP address for the device to be its permanent address on the Internet (it is better for VoIP calls).
